morning assembly was better today. as compared
to last weeks. i guess the perc sec1s are more
confident now. a good thing. but overall, the band
still needs to improve faster. if not we wont make
it for the istana performance :/

open my bag and wanted to take out my attendance
file, i found out what i didnt bring. all my files -.-
damn...left it on my table...didnt bring emaths
holiday homework again...rawr why am i so
forgetful?

ok. didnt mark attendance cause never bring.
kasidet called me in the morning telling me
he broke his toe so cant go school. thanks for
informing me(: hope you're better now.

damn...im screwing up my sequence of event...
ahh!!! nvm...forget it...

erm. the lessons were okok lar. amaths still my
dreaded subject...trying hard to keep awake.
listening to music...in the end slept for awhile
and woke up when mdm teo scolded joseph for
listening his mp3. i was semi awake so didnt
bother taking off my earpiece...
i setting a bad example man :/

school ended. went to band room straight for
batch meeting. ive learnt things like,"if you
dont have an aim for your sectional, you will
end up doing nothing." i have heard that
somewhere else also, but was another version:
"if you as a leader dont have an aim, you will
end up taking your group members to a walk
in the garden."
i shall have aims before every sectionals now
on.

took out some files and scores. saw a piece of
paper which struck me. "discipline-less system".
the 2 pages of words really enlighten me on
how to conduct sectionals and command my
section so that they wouldnt hate me, pon
sectionals. i shall share a little with you all when
i get it back from luqman.

practice awhile before going home. practiced
a solo piece called 初恋 (first love) not the one
by hikaru utada. was easy but nice.

long post ahead (:

handover is today. firstly in the morning, went
to parkway bus stop to meet the rest of the section
mates at 8am. was on time. but waited for eugene
who claims his location was "behind kc" when i
called. then we decided to pangseh him and
go katong mall first :/

when we reached there. eugene came out from
his dad's car. stunned man. then sign up for
membership and went to play. the coms there
are totally cmi...no cs...so we started with dota.
owned in the first game. got owned for the second.
then switch to mini games. was damn fun. i got
high :/

then we decided to go back after playing bf...
map so freaking big yet we only have 6 people
playing...so we kind of gave up.

reach school, we were late. the handover
ceremony started :/ but they were waiting for
me. cause im an emcee also...sorry >.<

it started off well. im not a good emcee ):
cant talk when im facing a huge crowd...
haha. anyway, we had the video playing.
was very hilarious. hope the sec4s like it :/

then was the tradition play. invited juniors and
acted the kungfu panda! haha. was damn funny.
shall not elaborate much on this.

gave out the badges and files to the sec1 juniors.
ms tan was invited to give them the badges and
files.

next, the sec3s posts. i got double post.
special project and section leader. stressful ):
but i will work hard to improve the band.
i will inspire you all!

luqman and mirza the band majors now. they
seem very inspired now. even more than the
temple times :/

the outgoing band majors gave their speech next.
the talk was very inspiring. i got more confidence
liao. then mr tan gave his speech. he sort of
threaten us to do well in both studies and band.

the teachers gave theirs too. and it ended after
the outgoing bms say "band dismiss" for the
last time.

had our last section meeting. the highlight was
me again...haha. but its ok lar. the sec4s last time
gossiping in section meeting :/

mr ikhwan had a talk with us. still study hard
and concentrate on band. some section leader
is on probation for 1 - 2 months.

then we slacked around before going field to
play soccer. played till 3+, got tired so went
back to band room to cool down. i actually
slept, and used my phone as a pillow...

went home at about 400.


special project. my dream post. now ive got it (:


section leader. wasnt supposed to be mine, but
since the sec4s gave it to me, i will try my best
to fulfill my duty.

today. morning assembly was screwed. totally...
percussion sect at the beginning suddenly all
stop...then the band paused for a split second.
but luckily continued...haix...if the sec ones arent
ready please dont let them play...we will end up
screwing ourselves up...

lessons was normal. didnt go ecp today for geog,
but was postponed to next fri. must do things like
count the wave frequency :/ so troublesome...

band. darren took warm ups. was quite ok. the
feeling in the band room wasnt the same anymore.
i felt that it was like a stranger to me...the band
suddenly become so small...i could see the conductor
so clearly...maybe its a good thing, but i rather
that i cant see the conductor clearly...

band prac was bad...no excuses for it i would say.
just plainly that we arent good enough and we've
been depending on our sec4s too much. far too
much...when left alone, we couldnt produce
anything nice...maybe its just time. if the band
gets inspired by the BMs, then we can make it...
if not...haix...

had a batch meeting then i got to rush off to the
foyer for the taking of attendance for
meet-the-parents session. the sai gang that
monitors do. but im ok with anyway, we are the
leaders. i shant procastinate...

after most parents have reached, we were supposed
to go up to the hall to do ushering. mr maran came
to talk to us. he said,"you all are the only leaders
that will lead until the day you leave vs. even
when you come back to collect the o lvl results,
you are the ones that get your class organised..."
this words ensure me that that day i chose to be
a monitor, i did the correct thing. hopefully nothing
goes wrong, so that i can be a monitor till the end
of my vs school life. cant say vs life. cause once
a victorian always a victorian.

help in the ushering than left for home with afiq
and sidney. then sidney got a call from his dad
saying that he will be fetching him home. so me
and afiq went to the bus stop and wait. yunsol
called and told me they on 197, so i boarded and
left. and now. blogging and also eating my dinner
): so late liao then eat dinner...

tmr is handover...the day i dread though im going
to get my dream post. things are going to happen.
behind the scene things. am i ready for it? no...
remember during the march band camp, mr ikhwan
asked our batch are we ready for handover. we
said no. but gradually we gained some confidence.
but now, maybe its just me being paranoid, im
not ready for it...
i was just stating facts...yet you get irritated...im not saying its your fault.
i do give people the impression that i am like that...i really feel im worthless
to you...

im not in esp already. yes!!!
mons to weds now is free le! yay! can go out. haha.

today we got to know our mt o level oral exam
dates. haha. mine's on the 08/07/08. nice number
lor.

the lessons today was ok lar. nothing much.
stayed back after school to go home with sidney.
nice friend right? :/
did homework outside band room for awhile.
then hassan, sulaiman and ahmad came up.
hassan as usual, took my wallet, threw down
the "pit" outside auditoriurm...
the worst, he took out almost everything...
made me climb down and pick up everything...
haha. that joker :/

erm went to sidney's class to see them do project.
omg man. so nicely done! not like my group one.
i doing everything lor. basket. anyway they did
all the way till 6. i was doing geog holiday homework
then i slack around and eventually slept awhile...
haha. just too bored. wanted to join in to help
them but scared they say i extra so i chose
to sleep.

went down to mc room put bag then chiong
to field to join in the fun. the b div soccer boys
play. was 2 - 0 when i reached. but they didnt
score after i went. im a jinx man :/
haha. but well done soccer boys. you all can act
man. fake injuries =X

went home on 31. vanessa so kind! she waited
for me and sidney at tamp interchange. and
even bought a reunion gift (: love you girl!

and im damn happy now. cause i got my bro's
phone! the camera works! YAY!

still scoring well. ragh i just dont get why people
can score without scoring...

russell.
a junior i got this year. he's the best in the sec2s
in my opinion. cause he is hardworking, he
listens to what we tell him. his sightreading is
very good! he wins the best junior in my mind.

fareez.
a typical mat :/ skips band prac, but still better
than the next guy. maybe cause he has talent.
but hopefully he will work harder for band.

keith.
eugene's cousin. but none of his characteristics
resemble eugene in anyway.

spencer.
a "cute" but very irritating guy. but he's good lar.
he will listen to us and give us what we want.
hopefully he can be more mature and proer.
we need trombone players man.

first day of school.

the band room seems empty and quiet. missed
the times when the sec4s are around. some would
be playing instruments. some slacking around
talking about the dota match they had last night.
when they are there, i dont think about what
happens if they werent there. when they werent
there, i think about what will happen.

what will happen? band starts to fall cause the
passion starts to die off when they dont get their
ideal post? what if im the sl and i cant do a good job?
someone told me that as long as i get the post
i want, dont care what the rest think. done. im
just eyeing for a sp. nothing else. i dont want to
snatch post or anything. i really dread handover
now...

the lessons were quite ok. i start to listen to
mdm teo's lesson. thats good. im motivated by
the number3 on my wishlist.

school ended. went to white sands to eat lunch.
bk. french chicken is nice. then took bus3 to erwin's
house. ris grandeur. his room is freaking nice.
its my ideal room. small, wooden floor, mattress
bed only. so japanese like :/ but i like it.

we slacked. then did research. and i used msn liao.
talked to only some people. so little people online
lor. went home at about 7. the journey seems damn
long.

went out to clarke quay with aulydia(:
haha. wanted to go tcc. but then we couldnt find.
so we went coffee club instead. its a nice place
man. except for the lousy singing on the first floor.
seriously cmi lor.

ordered erm ya! blackforest coffee.
its nice man. feeling! we talked and drank coffee.
and also the scenary is nice. by the river.

then we went to walked all the way to esplanade
along the river. its really nice to walk by the river.
see tourists sightseeing.

we went to the the rooftop and i just realised that
esplanade isit that big. is small lor :/
then we walked to the library. its more grand than
the national library. but the scores section cant
make it man...so little brass one. all for strings
and piano...

we walked to marina after that. decided to
catch a movie. watched shaolin girl. i swear its
damn nice. a normal story with huge meaning.
min min is very prettaye :/

then we went separate ways. i went to the east
side then auly went to the west side.

some reflections on temple.

can see that the batch gets really bonded together.
that was what mr ikhwan was hoping to achieve
from it i guess, and we did it. we face the problems
together. thick and thin.

my normal bus mates: sean, jj, david. i guess we
are closer now. and especially jj. i will be there
for you when you need me. its real. though it
sounds wrong.

we get more experience. this is one important
aspect also. it helps us to prepare for the days
after handover.

i made a new friend through this event. heidi.
haha. she a nice and pretty girl (: thanks for
agreeing to my wierd requests. hope we can
be friends for ever? :/

shall blog more about the performance days
tmr. very lazy to blog about it. cause its going
to be a long post :/

was staying at home cause got a little flare up...
damn it-.-

then ashley told me on msn that she going to
watch the incredible hulk with kc and xy. at
first i was a little reluctant to go...cause it was
damn hot outside again...but after awhile i
decided to go :/ im sorry that i didnt go band
this morning...

then at 355. i walked to take 21. the bus took
10minutes to come. so i was late. then i kan
chiong liao. but when i was about to reach,
ashley called and said that the internet cheat
her feelings. caspian dont have. haha. nvm lar.

when i reached. i saw xy with rachael. then ashley
said two more friends coming. junzhou and
yeechong came. we waited until 500 before
going into the cinemas. we were a little late. but
luckily havent start yet.

then we watched. the movie is nice. but just that
it keeps me on the edge of the chair. very action
packed. the needles, syringe, blood. god...i get
freaked out when the blood ooz out into the
syringe lar...urghh...

then they insert the virus into the spine. sick
man...BUT the movie is touching lor and liv
tyler is so prettaye. haha.
when hulk fall from the helicopter to help fight
the villian, the emotions in her eyes was
so _______(i dont know how to say).

yesterday:
sleep till 230. supposed to go escape to meet the
mats at 10. haha. sorry. then i slack till 330 then
started preaparing to go out. its so sian lor. outside
so hot. home so cooling.

went to tamp interchange, mrt-ed to pasir ris.
david called and said that they were at library.
i went to find them. then we left for tanjong pagar.

i look like a waiter yesterday man...haha.

waited until till the door open...so long lor. the
boarding time is 7.00pm leh. 7+ then open...
the concert was erm. quite ok. the band's techniques
good. but the pieces make it so boring...almost
slept :/ sounded so classic lor. not my type. haha.
i want pieces like disney medley. those tuneful de.

i didnt eat dinner then go watch le. starving man...
the concert ended at around 945. so we headed
to city hall to eat. bk. then we went home. my
phone died when i reached simei station. sian...
was msging one lor. then broke the conversation.

rushed home to charge phone. then can msg le.
haha.

the matches now starts at 245am ): i cant watch
liao. sobs. and czech got kicked out. how sad
man...


today:
slacking at home. doing homework. trying to write
a compo but i could think of ideas...
didnt go band prac. cause got a little flare up...
hate it when it flares up...damn it...

i got dark eye rings liao. didnt sleep for 1 night le.
sian. but luckily i not bimbotic like sidney. i wont
bother :/

oya. solo walk last night. fun? scary?
lol. i think for the seniors is fun. but the juniors
are scared. i and sidney was stationed at the HOD
male toilet. the first checkpoint station after being
dispatched. at first we were all watching silent hill
in gentleman room 1. then watch halfway, stop.
then the juniors start to walk. danial told ghost
stories and weng keong joined in. afiq dispatch.

the first person to walk. bryan yong. that bugger,
he never walk abit scream like 5 times liao. then
mr low came down from the hostel and told us
off. cause we are waking the hostel people :/
im sorry.

the others were quite ok. then there was one person
who claims that he was weak heart and havent
eat his medicine tonight...thats was a nice lie, but
it doesnt get pass me. you still have to walk =P

yu da is the last walker, sidney wear scream mask
and got punched in the left eye. yu da busy signing
his name and reading the instructions. then he
turn around and wanted to leave. sidney stood
there blocking his way. he turn around and gave
sidney a good punch with cause his left to "sore"
for awhile. haha. serve you right :/

a general survey was conducted and most juniors
say that the HOD toilet was the scariest (:
sidney, wenglok! good job! oya shervin also. his
joker face did had an impact on the juniors. haha

then the night walk ended, the juniors all went to
the hall and sleep or rest. the sec3s all still clearing
the solowalk checkpoints. after clearing, they went
to bath and i slack in psb room playing psp (:
until like 345, most people either doze off or slept.

then i used ernest com to check the results for
austria and poland. at 86 minutes was 0 - 1.
then at 91 minutes, got freekick for austria.
the ball went off target. then a foul was committed
in the penalty area then austria got an equaliser at
92 minutes. damn...

oya. then i went BLOG HOPPING! went to someone's
blog and commented that that person was pretty.
i replied my tags at 4+ also. so cool right?

yo! im now slacking at home. cause need to take
the performance attire. need to wash then iron.
and the best thing is that we need to put the
ironed attire into a small ziplock bag...might as
well dont iron-.- it will still end up getting crumpled
waste time and effort...

anyway mc camp was fun man. the icebreakers
in the morning was quite ok. two new games that
i learnt. the first was called erm isit polar bear? :/
it is similar to murderer. just that the polar bear
is the murderer. it takes a long time to finish the
game but was fun lar. i got damn hyper. haha.

the next one is called 牛奶 i think. it is kind of
a very crazy game. play already can get damn
high those kind. adam is damn funny lar. he play
this game then he like jumping around like monkey
and not knowing what he was saying :/

lunch was the next activity. we went ecp. it was
damn bloody hot T.T
after we finish eating liao. we went back. on the way,
sean chin threw the frisbee at me. it hit my erm.
there. straight into my there. then i fell and groan...
damn it man...super pain lar. then my stomach
cramp...feels damn weird there lor...

after that was scavenger hunt. i was tasked to
put the clues in the field. i know i damn bastard.
but what can i do? haha. i hid it in the field...
i think all the 3 groups went to weijian and ask
him where lor :/ the field so big, i hid 3 8cm x 2cm
paper in the field. im sorry >.<

then loong, yunsol and i went up for temple prac...
was a failure man...hate the practices...so sian and
tiring...

we went to the band room to eat dinner.

outside band room. we were eating the chicky
rice. at least now not like construction workers

having breakfast. was damn beat...got a little

just some thoughts about our band :/
after temple will be hand over le. so soon.
im not really ready to take up any responsibility
yet O: how? haix...the band standard is dropping
as the year goes :/ next syf...isit a gold with
honour, gold, silver, bronze or certificate of
participation?

last year was silver.
our batch is going to handle istana performance,
syf and a musical world...

anyway, this week, im only free on wednesday!
so pathetic...someone ask me out please...

morning was fun(: but couldnt go eat with you

afternoon's band prac is like shit -.- repeated
the piece like more than 10 times...we are
humans damn it...not machines...


shall blog a little about yesterday's temple
practice:
went to school to practice till about 530. the
coach come le then we board and go. the coach
is those like grassland one lor. very comfy. high
class de wor :/

we were anxious to know what place we practising
in. then suddenly we were at geylang. lorong 20
geylang says the board opposite the place. we
actually practising in an old indoor sports
stadium opposite geylang? yes-.- damn it.

went into the sports stadium. cause we thought
got chio bu to see. st nick de cheer leaders (:
go there surprises man...one person told us to
put instruments one the seats. can go up. one
lady by the name joanna~ screamed after saying
somethings. this is what happened:

one lady: "Put your instruments and settle down.
You all can go up."

joanna: "Can you all just occupy the first five rows?"

*no answer*

3seconds later,
joanna: "DO YOU ALL KNOW HOW TO COUNT!"

wtf man...pissy...and you all should have seen how
she dress. is like those in the era where there is
emperor and empress. then those woman wear
the piece of cloth called du4 dou1 (if im not wrong)
yuck man -.-

then the dinner. best lar. nslm (read my older
post to find out what isit if you dont know).
where we eat is the highlight of the practice.
we eat at roadside. no table no chair. sit on the
road like banglah workers in the comstruction site.
in the nslm, the chilli is spam one. all over. my
case was the worst i think, chicken wing soaked
in chilli...nice right? -.-
i wonder is this a torture or practice...

the normal practice fianlly started. not a bad one,
neither isit a good one. shall not elaborate too
much later you all sleep :/

at about 945 coach come liao, we took it and left.
packed up and debrief in school then went home
with most of the sec3s.

the cheerleaders seem cool (:

today was fun. followed ashley, kc, andres and
ernest to tamp swimming complex to swim.
kc and i didnt get into the water so we just stone
under the shelter play psp :/

took 3 with ashley and kc to tamp swimming
complex. then andres came to meet us. ernest
was late! i dont know why also :/ they swim,
we play psp.

then went to tm to find food. then we passed by
sweet talk then we bought bubble tea. by the
time we finish it, we were quite full le. then
they decided to watch movie. then check timings.
i cannot make it for any of the timings at both
tm and cs. im sorry >.< then ashley decided to
go home then go for choir and kc followed her
home also.

me, andres and ernest went around looking for
cheap deals for lunch. then all the student meals
start at 130...so we walked around then we saw
yoshinoya had a lucky draw. the prizes were
desktops so we decided to eat in yoshinoya. eat
halfway then weiloong and yogi came. after they
finish le, they go walk walk while i go home cause
need to see doctor. T.T
why cant my disorder recover...

seeing you have fun was enough to make my day.
haix, i seemed further from getting you...would
perserverance change things as it is now?

okay i shall elaborate more about yesterday.
a very long post :/

reached school ay 1010 then we were eating our
tabao-ed mac breakfast which jj call it sme.
(sausage macmufin with egg) was suppose to
arrange files, then none of my section people
came early...so had to arrange files after fall-in.
was quite hectic while preparing to leave for
spore conference hall.

then we took coaches to SCH. packed until max
la. there were like 5 people standing up cause
no seats. then all the full uniforms hanging on
the alley.

slack for awhile outside the hall. then help
unload instruments. the personnel there is
fucked up. attitude like shit...

waited for awhile before setting up instruments
and have a rehearsal. we really sounded small
in the hall. one mistake also can be heard
very clearly.

got gastric pain after awhile. cause no lunch
provided then i bought coke to drink before
the rehearsal. coke is acidic lar. then i drank
one can only then damn pain liao...

the rehearsal ended late so we didnt record
victorian anthem le. the alumni band prac was
next. selections from cats is damn nice. we
slack till about 530 like that before eating
dinner. it was mdm esther teo's speciality.
nslm(nasi lemak) another short form from jj.

when i changed finish le. sidney and vanessa
popped out and walked towards me. they wear
quite formal leh. and vanessa is very pretty
yesterday >.<

at backstage i called ashley to tell her that we
cant meet during the intermission. then she said
xy bought me flowers! omg im really touched la.
but sadly she cannot pass it to me ): wasted hers
and ashley's effort. most likely by the time she
gives me the flower, its dead lor :/

only took a few photos then i have to run to
backstage le. sorry sidney and vanessa :/
and bionicles rocks! (:

went backstage and prepared to perform le.
waited for the second bell. then slowly
streamed out into our seats.

then weng keong and glenn announced the
start of the concert. mr tan walked in. the
first piece was twin oaks. an overture. was
quite ok. not much screw-ups.

second piece was currents. deadly man. the
last few bars. half the section came in early
by one bar!!! then the rest came in on time.
like a special effect lor :/

third piece was the lord of the rings. quite
ok overall. fourth piece repercussion. i came
in one bar early and it was very loud :/
was damn paiseh lor. and mr tan was staring
at us i think >.<

fifth piece was twinkle twinkle little star.
its really nice. no major screw ups.

after intermission was alumni performance.
selection from cats was very nice. the
ensembles was very nice lor. showcase the
sections pro-ness.

disney medley III was right after. very nicely
played. and theatre music was the nicest i
think(?) maybe cause i like it ba. the encore
piece was quite ok lar. greece. the audience
clapping was not on time :/

victorian anthem was so nice lar. victorians
sing along loudly. as usual, victorians rock!!!

i was very glad that family and friends came
down to support me, us. thanks for all the
messages and calls of encouragement and
praising. no forgetting the gifts! bionicle by
vanessa and sidney, flowers by xiangyun and
ashley. love you all (:

concert day! woohoo was nice lar overall. shall
blog more about it tmr. sorry to like keep the
suspense. watch out for my post tmr!

thanks sidney ,vanessa, ashley, xiangyun,
ernest, andres and those who came down and
support vscb. really thank you all. if not for
you all, the concert wouldnt be a success.

special thanks to vanessa, sidney who bought
a fabulous gift for me! i love it(: thanks.

and and and, xiangyun and ashley who actually
really bought flowers for me! i was joking that
day leh :/ but nevermind lar. its the thought
that counts. thanks.
